For the following counties in Ohio, Gaglia and Mages, and the following counties in West Virginia, Jackson, Mason, Putnam, Ronan, Wirt. Issued at 8.31 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Extreme heat warning remains in effect until 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight time this evening. Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 100 to expected. Areas affected include portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, and central, northern, southern, and western West Virginia.
