Carbon monoxide alarm due to expired detector

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a reported carbon monoxide detector activation at a home near Steep Hill Road and Dogwood Lane in Weston. The house was evacuated and checked, and responders determined the plug-in detector was at the end of its life with no carbon monoxide readings in the home. The alarm was recalled and one fire unit stayed briefly on scene.
