Woman injured in reported assault by mother

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatchers received a domestic assault report from a caller who was screaming and said her mother pushed her head into a pole at a residence near North Winchester Avenue in Waynesboro. Police arrived and requested EMS to check injuries to a female at the scene. In a separate call, crews responded to an elevator rescue for two people stuck between floors at a medical center on Medical Center Drive.
