Severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Lancaster and southwestern Saunders counties

As discussed during the dispatch call, the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Lancaster County and southwestern Saunders County until 11:30 p.m. A storm located near Raymond (east of Seward) was moving north around 25 mph, with expected hazards including damaging winds (around 60 mph) and quarter-size hail. Residents were advised to move indoors; those on or near Branched Oak Lake should get off the water and seek shelter.
