Report of smoke from unattended fire pit

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units were sent near the 3600 block of Washington Avenue in Spanish Township for a neighbor’s report of smoke from a backyard fire pit with unknown items burning. Crews noted that a similar complaint had been made about the same location about a week earlier, and the situation again appeared to involve only a small fire in the pit with no one nearby.
