Officers responded to an apartment complex on South Ingram Mill Road after a caller reported a man and woman screaming and moving in and out of an apartment in the 800 building on the west side. The caller later said a man, whose name was given, had put his hands on him, indicating an assault. An officer reported a dark passenger car leaving the area that might have been involved. Medical help was requested but then canceled, and no specific injuries were described.
