A report was received about smoke or haze inside a nursing home near South Tuttle Avenue and Floyd Street. Firefighters responded and investigated the large nursing home. No active fire was found, but a light haze with an electrical smell was detected near the northwest corner and ceiling in the north unit. Residents were evacuated or sheltered in place as a precaution while the source of the smoke was searched. The situation was managed without finding an active fire.
