Fire alarm caused by extinguisher activation

Fire crews responded to a fire alarm at a large apartment complex. An audible alarm was sounding and there were reports of possible smoke from a second-floor unit. Multiple engines and a truck arrived and began investigating inside the building. Maintenance staff were on scene to assist. After checking the area, crews found that a pull station had been activated and a fire extinguisher had been discharged, but there was no smoke, fire, or other hazard. Most units were released, and one engine stayed briefly to reset the alarm system.
