throw a good afternoon out there to you as well. I'll catch you a little bit later. I got some stuff to do here before I go over to a night at 5 o'clock, and I hope I get into that one, but I wanted to just say hello to you, give a shout out, and I hope mom is doing well as well as you are doing well, and the rest of the family, over it? Good afternoon, (name withheld), and yeah, I sure do appreciate that. This is K.E.2. C.J. L. Yep, everything is... improving. One day a time, it was slowly improving, so that's good. Yeah, I tried to listen on the 28405 last night. Didn't work out so well, as you already know. So, yeah, hopefully we can have a net tonight on here, and that'll be good. I was just reading on the news here a few minutes ago there's a fatal motorcycle accident up in your area there in Arandicoit, somebody running from the law. you know, wrecked his motorcycle and I can't remember what the name of the street was, but too bad people got to play, but you know, you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes, right? Yeah, Roger, that, yep, I was well aware of that Lake Shore Boulevard along the lake. A lot of beachcores are not happy because it's closed until further notice. A lot of people going down to the beach for picnics. and going to Duran Park can't get to where they got to go, because it's shut down from Culver and Sweetburn all the way to Kings Highway. There's a lot of tick-off people, let me tell you. But what are you going to do? You know, it's one of those things. The guy was running from the wall. You hit a parked car, and that was the end of him. Yeah, I hear you. I didn't hear that much of the detail. Yeah, I just heard that he watered up the bike. And that was the end of it. But why is it closed because of algae blooms up there or are they doing construction or why is everything closed off up that way? They got to investigate the fatal crash and it takes hours. Misunderstood. I misunderstood. I misunderstood. I thought you may have been closed prior to, you know, today or prior to the accident. I thought you might have been previously closed. Okay, all right. Yeah, I misunderstood. Yeah, Roger that. It'll probably open up, but it won't open up until probably about 9, 10 o'clock tonight. It's just the way it is, you know. It's one of those things. I mean, they have to let people out that are in there, but it'll definitely be closed around the horseshoe road area for quite a while, which is where he hit the park car. But, you know, from Kings Highway... It'll probably be close from Kings Highway to at least log cabin road indefinitely until they get the investigation finished. But hopefully they'll at least open it up at Culver and Sweet Fern to log cabin road so the people can get up to the picnic pavilions. And if there's evening picnics or whatever they were doing, so we'll see what happens. But as right now, it's still shut down indefinitely. So we'll see what happens. That's just the way it goes, you know. I've been on a few of those over the years where I used to be fire police and had to shut the road down up there at that corner at Culver and Sweet Fern. So I know how that goes and sometimes you sit there for many, many hours. Sometimes you don't. It just depends on how bad it is. If it's just a minor MVA, they shoot it down for an hour or two. But something along this nature, it can be closed for up to, you know, six to eight hours, depending on how long it takes them to investigate everything. It's one of those things, you know, because it was a law enforcement chase, it may take longer, you know, you just don't know. But anyways, good to hear you, Eric. I'll talk to you later on in on the net tonight, sir, my friend, and hopefully hear you join us there. Hopefully you're enjoying the rest of your day. 7-3 for now from K2, PQP. Good afternoon. The time is 4 p.m.
