Attempted child abduction reported near Evergreen in Mason County

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a report of an attempted kidnapping involving a child (about 7 years old) while the child was playing football. A male (name withheld) reportedly came up from behind and grabbed/yanked the back of the child’s shirt. The child was reported to be okay, but there were concerns about the male’s behavior toward children; deputies were advised to check the situation.
