Teen threatens self-harm; firearms secured at home
Medical EmergencyHere's 2,700 car for welfare check, 270th Avenue, Main Rock. 37-37. 2737. My caller is receiving information second and third hand. She's requesting a welfare recheck at the address of W-438-270th Avenue. There is a family friend, (name withheld), who lived with them. He's 17 years old. Does have some mental health issues. He's been texting and calling people, telling them that he's going to kill himself. He does not have a plan. He does have a history of running away and being confrontational. There are firearms at the residence. However, it doesn't sound like anyone, except for my complainant's father, knows where they are and they are locked in a safe. There is another subject at the residence with a six-year-old that is currently making sure. Nothing happens. I have not made contact with that subject at this time. Again, the status is W-438270 is happening. However. 2737, would you like me to try and contact the subject of the residence? Negative. 10-4.
