The whole recording needs to be made available to your listeners in cases where animals are involved & especially when animals have been hurt, hit by cars, injured, or killed!!!! Your listeners deserve answers to all the questions your content leaves them with. I know I'm not the only one of your listeners that would like to know more about this case. Things like.....what kind of dog it was, what it looked like, who it was that shot the dog & why they felt it was necessary to shoot it 3 times? Seems like overkill to me, no matter what the circumstances were or the situation was! I would also like to know who the dog belongs to? Was their family "owners" notified? Is the dog still alive or is it dead? Where did animal control take the dog?Did someone take the dog to a vet to get it the medical help it deserves?
