Kitchen fire caused by microwave near 3rd Street

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews from North Wilkesboro and Wilkesboro responded to a reported structure fire at an apartment on 3rd Street after a microwave apparently started a kitchen fire. All residents were reported safely out of the unit, and the fire was later brought under control and some units were canceled.
