Burnt food triggers apartment fire alarm

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews and paramedics responded to a reported fire alarm at a multi‑unit residential building near Prairie View Court and Kennedy Drive in North Chicago. Units investigated and determined the activation was apparently caused by burnt food, with no smoke or fire showing outside the building.
