Who in the F would have a, "bon," fire, in September? You should really consider not BBQing on windy days? Do not mow, after ten AM...Watch using tools that emit sparks or are capable of it, including weed eaters. String can throw rocks...create sparks....Hope all of you have fire hardened your parcels and do not have candelabra trees. We live down here in the Valley, but have lived on the Hill. Even we have to mow our 1/3 acre, like a dozen times, each year, and go through gallons of Round-Up. We drive around greater Nevada County and notice lots of ladder fuels and people completely ignoring the well being of others and doing little to nothing, prep wise.
