Fire alarm at Negaunee State Police building

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews were dispatched to a reported fire alarm in the basement duct system at the state police building near US 41 East in Negaunee Township. The alarm was later reset and the fire response was canceled. Separately, units responded to a report of a car that hit a guardrail on a nearby bluff area, with the driver reported out of the vehicle and possibly under the influence. Medical personnel also transported an adult woman with severe back pain to the emergency room.
