Grass fire along Interstate 20 near Merkel

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews in Merkel responded to a small grass fire along the westbound shoulder of Interstate 20 near Rensselaer Road. Reports indicated heavy black smoke and a possible secondary fire east of the location.
