Smoke from pot left on stove in apartment

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a reported structure fire at an apartment in a residential complex off Ellerson Mill Circle in Mechanicsville. A resident apparently left a pot on the stove, burning the stove and filling the apartment with smoke. The fire was contained to the stove area, and crews assisted with ventilating the apartment.
