Fire alarm and gas odor check at beach resort

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a fire alarm and reported gas odor near a beach resort and nearby row of homes off Dunes Drive in Marina. One engine continued in an urgent, non-siren response while other units were canceled. The odor was ultimately linked to an open flame that was under permit and considered normal, and the situation was reported under control.
