Residential burglary reported on East 500 South

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a reported home burglary near East 500 South in Lynn. The caller said a woman arrived about 20 minutes earlier, found the basement door open, and noticed items missing. She also reported a passenger car that may have followed her and a male walking in the road near the residence. Dispatch indicated no one was believed to be inside the home.
