Domestic assault in Costco parking lot, suspect held

Police responded to a report of domestic violence in the Costco parking lot near Paxton and San Fernando. A woman in black clothing, associated with a white Honda, reported that a 46-year-old man in a UCLA sweatshirt had committed battery and was trying to break her vehicle windows with a water bottle. At one point the man chased her through the parking lot. She also said he might have a work box cutter in his backpack, although no weapon was seen. She waited with Costco employees at the front of the store until officers arrived. Police located the man at the scene, and the suspect was taken into custody. Other unrelated radio traffic about different calls and unit statuses was also recorded in the same audio.
