Backyard campfire mistaken for house fire in Keeseville

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire departments from Keeseville and Peru were dispatched to a possible structure fire reported near Elk Street in Keeseville. A caller said they could see what appeared to be a building on fire behind a residence. Units checked the area, including nearby streets, and the response was later downgraded when it was determined to be a campfire in a backyard. A separate alarm system activation was also reported on Wheat Street in Plattsburgh, where the caller stated there was no active fire.
