Small apartment fire caused by faulty AC unit

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units responded to a multi-family residence near North Alpha Court in Goldsboro for reports of smoke and a possible structure fire. Crews investigated a reported fire alarm, initially found no active fire, and suspected a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. A small fire in the area was later located and extinguished, and units were advised to stand clear once the fire was out.
