Small wildland fire contained near Durango storage

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a reported wildland fire in cottonwood trees and a ditch behind a farm area near Highway 160 East by a storage facility. The fire, initially described as growing and threatening nearby structures, was contained to an apparent 20-by-20-foot smoldering area in willows west of a structure and extinguished, with additional units canceled.
