Mother removes child from social services placement home

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a reported kidnapping/custody dispute after a child was removed from a placement home near Center Street in the Cordova area. The mother walked with the child to an unknown nearby residence; deputies coordinated follow-up and requested contact with on-call DSS to verify placement/custody paperwork. Involved parties’ names were mentioned over the radio but are withheld.
