This accident was actually a run of the mill auto accident. For now and I don't know why, but Columbus Fire has all of their auto accidents go to 9 Extrication. But if the crash is serious and requires an extrication there will be a Battalion Chief, a ladder (Truck) company, a heavy rescue, an EMS Supervisor, and sometimes a safety officer. Also they will go to whichever Battalion Chief is dispatched to their channel not 9 Extrication. Please take note!
