Hiker on Hickory Nut Falls Trail has altered consciousness

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a report of a hiker on Hickory Nut Falls Trail near Chimney Rock who was reportedly going in and out of consciousness with a possible altered mental status. Fire, EMS, and law enforcement staged near the park entrance and Chimney Rock Park office while units made their way toward the patient.
