I remember a call like this one. The same kind of screaming feline call as we were all in the middle of looking for the man with a gun call not minutes before. I got the yob & knew it was all bogus tactical deversion to take cpd away from the 1st call. So I went, got there 1st, heard nothing. So, I gave it a slow-down that way the rest could find the guy with a gun. The "white" sgt. got on the air & told the dispatcher, "belay the order, he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Keep'em coming!" When the female was finally identified, (in the 100 unit building), she said, "Oh, I was just thanking the good Lord Jesus for another beautiful day!" Boy, it was hard as hell not to laugh my arse off !!! The atmosphere was thick with embarrassment & the joker with a gun got away !!!! Good choice when they issued them stripes !!!!!
