As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded in Belvidere to a reported odor of natural gas near Mansfield Street, which was later determined to be caused by a dead possum rather than a gas leak. Separately, responders were sent to an apartment building on Dumont Road near Greenwich Street and Brunswick Avenue to check on an elderly man who was reportedly unconscious inside a very hot apartment, with his door open and furniture overturned.
