She is conscious but cannot speak full sentences and has a history of breathing issues requiring intubation. The patient is refusing continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and epinephrine treatment. Vital signs include a pulse rate of 120, oxygen saturation of 97% on oxygen, and blood pressure around 140. The patient is restless and moving, making it difficult to obtain full vital signs. Paramedics have started an IV line and plan to administer dexamethasone if allowed. They are encouraging her to accept CPAP during transport due to tight lung sounds.
