large scale tree clearing and controlled burning near building

audio iconFire & Arson
Front St, Arp, TX 75750
I don't know for sure. I hadn't heard anyone say. We just watched it there for, I don't know, for about a week or so, when they were doing clearing, because we can see it right outside of our office window where they're on the east side of the building. But I'm not really sure who owns that, or what the game plan is. Okay, I was just curious. I figured it had to be state. They're the only ones that could get away with some burning that they did. Anybody else get thrown in jail probably? I forgot about the burning. There was quite a bit going on up on the hill, back here towards the back, you know, away from Front Street. I do know that they ribboned a few of the trees closer to Front Street that they didn't take down. But, man, you should have seen some of the large trees fall. down with the crunch. And so we, I don't know, I guess we watched about two or three of the largest ones fall. They cleared everything out except for the tallest three. And they had everything cleared off the way it looked and then they dropped those three. So that was something to watch them come down.
