Marine search for unmanned raft later canceled

As discussed during the dispatch call, marine rescue units from multiple stations responded near North Shore Drive and Poinsettia Road for a report of a blue raft about a mile northwest offshore with no one apparently visible on it. After coordination with county marine rescue and patrol units, the incident was determined to be unrelated to any current emergency and responding units were canceled and returned to service.
