Man missing after leaving mental health facility in Alpine


San Diego Sheriff on LA South Command, prepared to copy a BOL for a missing person at risk out of the Alpine area. San Diego Sheriff continuing with special attention to San Diego PD for the downtown area. We had a subject, AWOL from the Alpine Special Treatment Center, 2120 Alpine Boulevard, 2120 Alpine. He left at about 10.30 today. He walked away on foot. He is described as a white male, 50 years old, 5-8-170 with red hair, but balding. He was wearing a black bandana. A white t-shirt, blue jeans with white shoes. His name is Alan Johnson. He is diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and has an aversion to law enforcement officers. For the treatment center, he has left before and likes to frequent downtown San Diego as well as the city of El Cajon. He's under conservorship. which makes him at risk. No cell phone, an unknown destination. Again, all cell command units, BOL for a missing person at risk, 2120 Alpine Boulevard Special Treatment Center, diagnosed schizophrenia with paranoia for law enforcement. White male 50, 5-8. 170 named Alan Johnson was last seen wearing a black bandana, white shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes should be on foot.
