Three days ago I walked out to my truck at night only to find a man hiding in my ditch with a large hauling cart. He claimed he was taking my smashed pumpkins for his pigs, but he appeared homeless. Anyways, Why at night? Why hiding in calf-deep gutter water on a freezing night? Wtf!? Then about two nights later my brother's work truck had been rummaged through & they stole his $200-300 drill which he purchased for work work. We live on N. 99 Frontage Road in Acampo. Near Collier. It was obvious that someone had cut the fence between Frontage Rd and the freeway. The thief's muddy track could easily be noticed! So the suspect used the freeway to keep from being noticed by the public. The next night I was on high alert and went outside with a spotlight each time I heard commotion. I happened to see a small truck circling my block every ten minutes or so. it was a teal color. possibly a Chevy S-10..
