Unattended brush fire near railroad tracks in field

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews in Waynesville were dispatched to a possible unattended brush fire near Illinois Route 9 and East 50th Street, by the railroad tracks. The fire appeared to be spreading toward a nearby field, and its cause was unknown.
