Motor Vehicle Collision on Route 29 Southbound near MD-100

Summary: Howard County Fire Dispatch responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision with possible injuries on Route 29 southbound, near the interchange with MD-100. Multiple fire and rescue units were dispatched and searched the area, initially unable to locate the incident. Further information indicated the vehicle was on the right shoulder of Route 29 south, just south of MD-108. Upon contact, responders found a white sedan with minor front-end damage and no occupants in the vehicle. The driver was later located walking back to the scene and reported no injuries, indicating the incident was property damage only. Units were cleared to return to service.
