Armed Suspect Firing Handgun in Southwest Lancaster County

Summary: A white male in his 20s, dressed in a black jacket/hoodie and red sweatpants, was reported walking in the area of Southwest 40th–50th and West A/West Day in Lancaster County, Nebraska, firing a handgun into the air and ground. Multiple callers observed the suspect, who was seen entering and exiting properties at 4400 and 4300 West Day. Law enforcement responded, coordinated a search, and eventually detained a subject matching the description. A handgun was later recovered in the bushes near where the suspect had been seen.
