Vehicle Collision with Telephone Pole on State Route 507

Summary: A motor vehicle accident occurred in the 6300 block of State Route 507 in Thurston County, Washington. Initial reports indicated a vehicle struck a telephone pole, possibly pulling it down into the roadway. Emergency units, including Engine 41 and Engine 64, responded to the scene, which was located between Yelm Tenino Trail Southeast and Military Road Southeast. Callers reported hearing a loud boom and seeing a cloud of dust. Upon arrival, responders found one vehicle off the roadway with wheels down, but later confirmed that there was no pull down of the pole.
