Vehicle hits dog near Branch Oak Road residence

As discussed during the dispatch call, radio traffic reports a vehicle apparently hit and killed a dog near 50th Street and Branch Oak Road. The reporting driver stopped, rendered aid, and remained on scene in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee while deputies were notified about the deceased animal in front of a nearby residence.
