Elderly man rescued from pond in Redwood

As discussed during the dispatch call, an 85-year-old male was rescued from a pond near Limestone Road in Redwood. The man, unable to get out of the approximately 8-foot-deep water on his own, was holding onto long grass while awaiting assistance. Emergency services, including Redwood Fire Department and Alex Bay Ambulance, were dispatched and successfully removed him from the water.
