Vehicle hits deer and leaves scene on Port Republic Road

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received reports of a vehicle hitting a deer near Port Republic Road and Charlestown Road and then leaving the scene. The deer was reported alive but injured, with vehicle debris left in the roadway. Responding units checked the area, and later callers stated they were not involved but reported the injured deer and debris in the road.
