Father with dementia threatens family members at home

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a reported family disturbance near Washington Ave in the Village of Port Edwards, where a male with dementia was allegedly threatening to harm family members. The family members reportedly locked themselves in a bedroom while the male remained elsewhere in the home. Firearms (reported “.32s”) were said to be locked in a bedroom and the male reportedly did not have access to the key. Officers later requested a non-emergent ambulance for the male with dementia.
