Black River Fire: Evening Update The fire is approximately 100 acres in size (that may change based on more accurate ground mapping). Crews have made great progress on this incident since the fire was reported this morning. Ground crews and dozers are working to get line around most of the fire this evening and continue to build and improve on that holding line tomorrow. Aerial resources were used throughout the day to reduce fire activity and spread. Aerial resources will continue to be utilized over the incident as needed. Remember, If you fly, we can’t.
