Woman reports assault by husband at Hi Gas and Wash

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were dispatched for a welfare check at Hi Gas and Wash, 700 East Lincoln Highway, after an employee reported a female customer appeared battered. The woman was seen sitting in a black Acura SUV in the parking lot and reportedly stated her husband beat her. The vehicle was later observed leaving the lot (toward Jiffy Lube), and she was reported to have gone back to her residence.
