Microwave sparks cause outlet and wiring damage

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews in Madawaska were dispatched to a residence on 12th Avenue for a possible electrical fire after a microwave reportedly sparked, burning a plug and outlet and heating the wall. Responders turned off the affected circuit and advised that power to that area remain off until an electrician can inspect it.
