Wanted aggravated assault suspect armed with handgun in Lake Villa

As discussed during the dispatch call, authorities issued a special alert in the Lake Villa area for a wanted aggravated assault suspect (officer safety). The suspect was reported driving an older black Jeep Grand Cherokee with tinted windows and was last seen heading north on Milwaukee Avenue from Grand Avenue; a gray semiautomatic handgun was reported tucked in the waistband.
