Jeep hits deer on south Straight Road near Gratiot

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a vehicle that apparently struck a deer on South Straight Road just north of Gratiot Road near Indian River. A gray and silver Jeep Compass was involved. No injuries were reported and the deer was described as dead and off the roadway.
