House fire near church on Northeast Third Street

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a reported structure fire near Northeast Third Street and Northeast Fourth Avenue in Carbon Hill, with flames and smoke reportedly visible and possibly centered in a bedroom of a mostly unoccupied house near a church. A separate medical call involved an elderly woman at a residence on Highway 69 who was reported to have slurred speech and hand cramping related to diabetes.
