Smoke reported in home, boiler issue suspected

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews and police responded to a home near Old Wood Road in Avon for a report of smoke in the building, possibly coming from the basement. The report was relayed by a family member calling from another town. Officers on scene later reported no visible smoke and a possible issue with the boiler’s expansion tank.
